Our world is perfect, but our soul is deep
Its boundaries hard, its walls steep
A gorge so dark and wide
Fear builds inside
Sand, stone and rocks
Sweat, pain and shocks
All along the way
Hurt we can't ignore or sway
So we hide from ourselves
Protect and lie to ourselves
As we patrol the ledge
A safe distance from its edge
